— The Energy is Electric.

Global Brand Launch film of pioneering US-based Electronic Vehicle company: SF Motors. San Francisco 2018.

Shot on location on winding San Francisco coastlines and deep Belize jungle.

Our Task: Introduce the SFM Brand and it’s defining ethos to our audience with an uplifting, anthemic, confidently kinetic launch film. (Without showing the vehicles, just yet).

Create personal stories and vignettes that invite empathy, warmth and understanding. Create a paean to human-centred technology that enhances, rather than replaces.

Methodology: Sharply edited vignettes of human adventure and endeavor, juxtaposed with pacy vehicle-POV driving shots; marrying the human journey forward with that of the SFM vehicles themselves. A symbiosis of technology and of human endeavor.

This is not a normal car-spot; with the roaring combustion engine drowning out, and screaming over the surroundings. This is in tune with it’s environmental sounds. Delicate graphic decals tracked over these vehicle POV’s show an AI mind that is studying it’s environment. Aware. Analyzing. Predicting. LEARNING and assisting).

Excerpt from Treatment: - We now cut back to follow the scene of a pair of cavers (male and female), navigating forward through an awe-inspiring open-air cave or ceynote, using handheld GPS and headlamps to help guide the way. The beauty of the natural environment and the experience of it being enhanced through technology are evident. Scanning equipment, such as lidar cameras are being used in this vignette to survey the subterranean world.
We are invited into these adventurers story, perhaps as they record geological
formations, or scan for new mineral discoveries. The marriage of the digital technology, the natural world - and the human experience of discovery they afford are present throughout…
